We realize that our website, www.keyose.com (the “Site”), can only work if we build trust with our users. This policy outlines the type of information Keyose collects from our users and how it is shared with other parties. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time, and without prior notice, by posting amended terms on this website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
What kind of data we collect and why
Keyose enables users to store their health record online so that they can access to their health information at any time from anywhere.
The type of data users may add to their records may include:
- Condition/disease information, including diagnosis date, first symptom information, and family history
- Medications, including treatment start dates, stop dates, and dosages
Keyose will NOT ask you to provide any personal information about yourself (name, address or email).
Keyose service is provided in Spanish territory, lying therefore under this country's jurisdiction.
As no identity information is provided to Keyose, the data stored in
it is not "personal data" as defined by the spanish law (Basic Law
15/1999, 13 December) about privacy of personal information. Although the above mentioned law is not applicable to Keyose we are committed
to apply the technical standards in order to ensure security and privacy of
data. This includes periodic backups of information and controlled access to the physical servers.
Cookies are required to use the Keyose service. A cookie is a small data file, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. Keyose uses only Session Cookies. Session Cookies are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the Website. Session Cookies do no store any personally identifying information, only a unique visitor ID number that we can use to customize the Keyose functionality for you.
Keyose will never provide third parties with any data, individualized or aggregated without the consent of each individual user. Each potential data transfer to third parties will require a new informed consent signature.
In the future Keyose could generate aggregated statistics based in data provided by users that had signed a specific informed consent. This statistics could be useful to allow Keyose users to compare their clinical advances with the rest of users. Also, this aggregated statistics could be provided to the general public and biomedical researchers for public interest, again after the sign of a specific informed consent for that purpose. However Keyose will never charge for or monetize these aggregated statistics.
Other security issues
Keyose cannot guarantee the identity of any other users with whom you may interact in the course of using the Site or who may have access (based on the privacy level you have selected) to your information. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of any data that users may provide about themselves.
Keyose will not link your IP address with the access to your personal health record. For that reason we cannot provide the IP addresses that have accessed to a particular register.
Finally, you should know that Keyose takes commercially reasonable technical precautions to help keep your data secure.
Risks and benefits
While our goal is to help patients improve health outcomes, there are no certain benefits to using this website. However, keeping track of personal well-being, treatments and symptoms has been shown to be helpful in improving overall health.
There are also no known risks to using this website, but there is a possibility that users may feel uncomfortable storing information online. You are free to stop using this service at any time. You are also free to skip any questions or data fields that make you feel uncomfortable.
